		<description>China plans to put a much greater emphasis on environmental protection very soon.  Some believe that it will be a very big legislative project now that their new private property laws have just been passed.  They're in a complicated situation: economic growth is taking the obvious priority, but they do realize it has to be checked a little where it threatens other types of interests, like environmental sustainability, human rights, and their own socialist constitution.</description>

Although I think that it's very sad that China's only doing this due to a looming international presence in Beijing.  And then there's still everywhere else.
